Summary

The Latvian DPA has imposed a fine of EUR 1,000 on SIA 4YOU MEBELES. In a sweep inspection of cookie practices of webistes the authority found that the controllers webshop for selling furniture, the authority found cookie definicies. A statement made by the controller on 28 January 2026 furthermore did not match the facts found by the authority on 13 February 2026, on 17 February and 15 April 2026 the authority requested the fixture of the remaining deficiencies again. The controller did not reply, while already being sanctioned with a warning about the deficiencies on 9 February 2026.
