Summary

The Italian DPA has imposed a fine of EUR 1,400 on Ristorante Carlo Menta s.r.l. Following a report by a data subject to the police the authority found that the controller was using surveillance cameras without providing accurate information about the processing of personal data. Although there were stickers informing data subjects about the cameras, as stated by the controller and found in an on-site inspection, the controller did not provide basic information about the processing activities.
