Summary

The Italian DPA has imposed a fine of EUR 3,930 on Action Fit di Milano. In a complaint the data subject stated that they had never consented to the controller processing their personal data for marketing purposes yet they had received marketing emails from the controller. After receiving these unsolicited emails the data subject exercised their right to object by sending an email to the controller. The controller did not answer this email and sent further marketing material to the data subject.
