Summary

The Spanish DPA has imposed a fine of EUR 2,400 on UNEI INICIATIVA SOCIAL S.L. On 11 April 2025, a data subject who was a subcontractor to the controller complained that the controller had used four cameras to partly capture the data subject's computer screen, work area and locker area without informing the data subject about the processing or providing adequate information on the processing activities. The signage installed did not provide all the necessary information. The original fine of EUR 4,000 was reduced by 40 % to EUR 2,400 due to the controller's admission of responsibility and voluntary payment.
