Summary

The Spanish DPA has imposed a fine of EUR 10,000 on MÁS SOL ENERGÍA 15, S.L. In November 2024 an agent of the controller called the data subject regarding the sale of solar panels and addressed the data subject by name. Despite the data subject being registered with an opt-out register, the call was made. When asked if they had checked the register, the agent replied that they relied on a database for these purposes. The controller obtained these databases from a provider. It was found that the controller had not adequately ensured the lawfulness of these databases.
